After 211 Rounds Mark Skaife announces Retirement

Toll Holden Racing team driver and Holden ambassador Mark Skaife announced his retirement this week. After having an ordinary season by his standards, Skaife has hung up his helmet putting an end to months of speculation and will step into the role of Director of Racing for Toll HRT next year. Now we will have to wait for the next announcement of who will take his place, with Jim Beam Racing's Will Davison being the hot contender.
